Dean Appenteng-Mensah is the Founder & President of Loanfund Realty. He is one of the most sought after real estate and Mortgage experts in the United States. He has been involved in all phases of Loanfund Realty since 1999 and newly Jigmos e-commerce development since 2023. The firm has established leading investing businesses across asset classes, including private equity in traditional buyout, growth equity, real estate, mortgage brokerage solutions, as well as delivering the firm’s investment management expertise and products to investment companies. Dean is an excellent leader, visionary, entrepreneur, and passionate about helping people. For over three decades, he is regularly involved in matters relating real estate, finance, business, and Investment banking. He is former senior financial advisor for Merrill Lynch Investment banking division. Later, he joined American Express and Bank of America as senior advisor for Businesses and high networth clients. He has four lovely children that he raised namely David, Esther, Michael, and Janette. When not working, he enjoys charity work for the needy and also spending time with family, friends, and sports activities. Dean studied Economics & Finance and is an alumnus of the University of Southern California. He is a man of faith who lives in Los Angeles, California.

Janette Mensah– Loanfund Realty’s Chief Strategy Officer since 2016, a role in which she is laser focused on expanding ecommerce, Originations and broker channel as a whole. Also she manages real estate, tax deeds, Wholesaling,  specializing in acquiring, developing, leasing, financing and managing commercial and residential buildings. Janette earned Division 1 basketball scholarship and  is applying lessons she learned playing basketball for California State University Fullerton to running a highly successful real estate, mortgage and e-commerce business. Janette sets new standards for excellence by focusing on efficiency, accessibility, service and  in lockstep with IT. She constantly strives to streamline the lending process for mortgage Loan Originators and Secondary market operations. Janette earned her bachelor’s degree in Health from California State University Fullerton.

Yaw Daaku, MBA-Head of Corporate Affairs-Yaw has been the Global Head of Corporate Affairs since 2018, overseeing operations for Loanfund Realty’s and newly launched Jigmos e-commerce’s ESG functions.  He leads Loandfund Realty and Jigmos-commerce efforts related to Environmental, Social and Governance issues. Yaw serves as the primary spokesperson for the firm, advising senior leaders and business groups, as well as companies across Loanfund Realty portfolio. Yaw is a strategic leader with over three decades of experience.  Prior, Yaw was a Healthcare consultant and  Venture Capitalist Consultant at BlueNet Consulting and SME incubator in New Haven, CT. He raised investment capital for companies in millions. Yaw has an MBA from Yale University, MSc. in Civil Engineering and a BS in Nursing.

Esther Mensah- Chief Marketing Officer since 2019. In this position, she leads all marketing, advertising, and external and internal communications efforts. She joined Loanfund Realty in 2017 as Project Manager. Currently she is wrapping up her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Northridge.

Reuben Pillay- Chief Technology Officer. He has been with the company since 2016 and is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals. With more than three decades of IT experience, Reuben is excellent in application development, programming, enterprise implementation and scaling. He is constantly developing intuitive technology platforms that help both e-commerce and Loan Originators grow their businesses. Under Reuben’s leadership, Loanfund Realty has developed the tools and platforms for Originators need to grow quickly, efficiently and with scale. Prior to joining Loanfund Realty, Reuben wrote complex Computer programs for different firms and Agencies. Reuben earned his Computer science bachelor’s degree from University of Southern california.

Michael A. Mensah-Executive Vice President of operations. Michael joined in 2016 and in this role, he leads the Capital Markets activities as well as the Legal/Compliance functions encompassing credit policy for both origination and servicing. In addition, Michael leads Revenue Operations strategies and sales support. Michael’s team is focused on managing risks for driving changes that help the company grow effectively. Michael is also responsible for the real estate operations specializing in acquiring, developing, leasing, financing and managing commercial and residential buildings. In both roles, he is responsible for leadership, growth and development of culture. Michael earned Division 1 Basketball scholarship and played for University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. He transferred to Fresno State University for his Postgraduate studies and brings that winning and competitive attitude to his career assignments.

David Mensah is the Chief Information Officer- In this role, he is responsible for strategy and the delivery for our digital products, technology platforms and data intelligence for ecommerce and Mortgages. David is focused on delivering digital experiences that drive innovation, sales, revenues in the mortgage lending industry and building the most scalable lending platform in the world. He joined Loanfund Realty in 2008 as the Project manager, leading the Product Technology team. David and his team redesigned Mortgage lead generation strategy, advanced the company’s digital lending and implemented platforms that reimagined the way that Mortgage team members communicate with their clients. Prior, David worked for Apple Technology and Snapchat. David has passion for technology, innovation, global change, and problem solving. David enjoys basketball, sports, coaching kids  when not working.

Michael Boateng Mensah-is Ghana’s Head of Real estate and Tactical Opportunities- Since 2010, Michael Boateng Mensah oversees Loanfund Realty Ghana’s Real estate, Mortgage and Jigmos e-commerce division. Michael oversees opportunistic, core investing across Ghana, including logistics, Residential, Commercial properties. MIchael focuses on driving performance and growth for both Loanfund Realty Real Estate and Jigmos e-commerce business.Prior, Michael served as a marketing specialist for Roknodo Enterprise for over two decades and Disengolf company. Michael attended St Augustine College and Accra High college.
